Infection prevention: It depends on the wounds and the location of the wound.If the wound is clean like at home with a knife, or surgical or fall at home, then betadine or peroxide will be ok.But if the wound is dirtyfrom outside, or animal bite etc, then a use of antibiotic cream and some time aral antibiotics will be recommended to prevent wound infection.
