Depends.: California has very strict driving laws concerning driving using bot prescription and illicit drug. You need to let the DMV know what medications you are on . On oral Methadone, you may need a doctor's evaluation for fitness to drive but injectable Methadone may get you a a year's suspension. It is best to check it out with their DMV.
