Can you tell me in the treatment of parkinson's disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generic answer: Although very complex, early mild disease can be treated with dopamine agonists, and maybe start Azilect, (rasagiline) but as disease progresses, tend to start L-DOPA, with carbidopa, and maybe ultimately entacapone. With more advance disease, might use dopamine agonists in combination, but eventually Deep Brain Stimulation may be best approach, for severe disease.
