Many: Treatment for pd can be divided into pharmacologic (medications), nonpharmacologic, and surgical therapy. Pharmacologic involves neuroprotective or symptomatic therapy. The main drugs used include levodopa, mao-b inhibitors, Dopamine agonists. Most of the available treatments used in practice are designed to manage symptoms and do not appear to slow or reverse the natural course of the disease.
