Not sure if this has: been studied, and I cannot find any literature on it, so will give you a guess. Marijuana elevates pulse significantly in some people, and exercise may elevate it more. In some people with underlying heart or blood pressure problems this could be an issue. In addition, smoking ANYTHING increases carbon monoxide in blood which lowers oxygen carrying capacity, not a good thing for exercise.
