A member asked:

What to do if i am 17 (female) and today my doctor diagnosed me with vasovagal syncope! and i had to do bloodwork, should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your daughter?: Your profile says you're 50. Is this your daughter? Anyway, vasovagal syncope is not a disease, it's a reflex. It's normal and can occur in most anyone if the conditions are right. Your job (should you choose to accept it) is to avoid the situation that resulted in syncope. Most people (but not all) know very well what brought it on.
