What do you suggest if my friend took 45 pills, was discharged from hospital, need medical advice?

Overdose: Was the patient discharged from the Emergency room - after brief treatment? If yes, was the staff aware of the quantity of medication taken and if this was a suicide attempt? If this is a routine discharge after hospitalization for an over-dose suicide attempt than please clarify and resubmit. That way we can address your specific concerns.
