Antibiotics/mgt: If you baby has whooping cough, antibiotics and follow up are indicated. Signs of distress include poor feeding, irritability, rapid respiratory rate, change in coloration of skin, lips, nailbeds. I would also advise checking the CDC website, pertussis may occur even among immunized infants.
