A member asked:

What happens if someone is extremely short (4'6) because they were born with a vsd that may or may not have been completely closed, could they get ssdi?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: You can earn a perfectly good living as a person of small stature. This is not a disabling condition and you can certainly get educated, learn a profession and support yourself at 4'6". Short stature has nothing to do with your mind not working right. Being of short stature is not a disability - only if you let it be in your mind. But this doesn't make you eligible for SSDI.
