A member asked:

How to identify the poison and treatment.a kub is obtained.what do you expect?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: KUB (kidney, ureter, bladder) is often performed as initial exam for non specific abdominal pain, flank pain, or blood in the urine. It can detect some types of kidney stones, less than 25 % of gallstones, and possibly detect or suggest bowel obstruction. A customs agent may request that a physician consider a KUB if orally ingested packets of illicitly smuggled narcotics are suspected.
