Not likely: Asorbic acid or known as vitamin c does not play a therapeutic role in removing lead toxicity. Chelation therapy is required.

Oral chelation: The removal of lead from the body is called chelation. Caedta has been the usual method, but oral treatment with Ascorbic Acid can be effective in reducing the lead burden.
