Symptom relief: I'm sorry your daughter isn't feeling well. If it looks like she has a cold and is uncomfortable with a fever - it is fine to give Ibuprofen or acetaminophen. There are no cough suppressants for children that young. Taking her into a hot shower (steam) can help with nasal congestion. Otherwise it's just the basics: time, rest, lots of love. You can expect a cold to last 5-7 days. Good luck!
