A member asked:

What do you suggest if my mother has ischemia and i want to know what the best medical treatment for this and is it reversible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: It's not generally reversible without an intervention (either percutaneously or with surgery). The best medical treatment consists of : aspirin, beta blocker, statin, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor. Correction of anemia, hypoxia, and not smoking. If angina persists, a nitrate and/or ranolazine can be added.
