When i take a very deep breath and breath it out at the end of expelling i feel a catch almost like phlegm and a slight wheezing feeling. any ideas?

Wheezing: With such a sparse history its hard to say much. If you are (or were) a smoker then you may have some mild (hopefully) emphysema. If you have had serious exposure to a dusty environment then you may have some damage to the small bronchioles of your lungs. Obviously,it concerns you so perhaps a visit to an internist or a pulmonologist is advisable.
