Yes.: Called alpha-gal allergy & only recently described bites of some tick species can induce allergic reactions that cause cross-reactions with beef. Persons who develop alpha-gal allergy have anaphylactic reactions to beef 3-4 hours after eating rather than minutes after as seen in usual food allergy. In southern states alpha-gal allergy is attributed to the bite of the lone star tick.

See below: Most insect bites cause "local reactions" which many people mistake for an allergic reaction. Local reactions present with redness, swelling, warmth, and itch (or no itch) but no pain. Some can be very large - "large local reactions".
