A member asked:

Its 2 days after sils appendectomy, no perforation/rupture, (appendix was upside down tho). have very painful bloating can barely walk. is it normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Air in the abdomen: During SILS, you get your abdomen blown up with CO2 to make it easier for the surgeons to see. This may account for you pain. You may even be constipated from the pain medicine. Regardless, I would discuss your symptoms with the surgeon who performed the procedure.
