Yes: You can get TSH/T4/T3 (liothyronine) tests at anytime. There are other labs that have a time preference or fasting preference but not thyroid. It is important that you get T3 (liothyronine) levels. It is the active thyroid hormone. TSH and T4 are no longer enough.

Silly to get FT3: Hi. Wish a TSH of 6.3, your FT3 (liothyronine) will be normal, so it's silly to get one. I agree with your first endo who just got you started on l-thyroxine. Free T3 (liothyronine) adds NOTHING to the assessment in this case. Good luck!
