Reflux symptoms: You most likely are experiencing symptoms of gastric acid reflux which causes acidic fluid from the stomach to be refluxed back into the esophagus and throat when one lays flat. You can try taking 2 TBS of Maalox or Mylanta [anti-acid] before bed and see if these symptoms resolve. If not, see your family physician about these symptoms.
