Your morning symptoms may be caused by overnight dehydration or by what you ate, especially if it was late in the evening. Drinking water, flat cola or flat ginger ale usually relieves nausea.and can dilute stomach acid. If you could identify a trigger food, like oily or spicy, it would be a good clue. You could also take a medication like famotidine at bedtime which prevents acid reflux.
