I have an internal stye. i took ibuprofen and apply warm compresses. what can i do to prevent pinkeye and help make this inner horedeolum rupture?

Prevention of styes: Prevention can be done with scrubs of your lash line twice a week. Take a dilute solution of tears-free baby shampoo (diluted in warm water) and then soak a Q-tip in the solution. Scrub your lash line with the solution, changing Q-tips frequently. However, once a stye develops all you can do is the hot compresses and drops as prescribed by your doctor. Make sure your mascara is new monthly.
