I missed an amoxicillin pill after dental work. i read online that i should not take twice the dosage to make up for it. is that so?

Not a big deal: Amoxicillin work best when there is a steady blood level concentration. If you missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose and you take 2 doses a day, take the one you missed and the next dose 5 hours later. Take care.

Missed dose: If you missed one pill, not a big deal, take it as soon as possible and continue with rest of the doses. The antibiotics work well when you take the entire course . Have a great day!
