I have a insect bite intolerance. yesterday i had another bite, i'm taking prednison 30 mg p/day (5 days) and benadryl (diphenhydramine) 50 mg. cooling makes it worse.

Steroids don't pre-: vent bites, make sure you apply bug spray regularly (l like Avon skin so soft)

Topical sprays..: Any shortness of breath ? go to the ER. Otherwise, try a topical spray - like the kind used for sunburn which contain lidocaine. Might bring some relief. Watch for redness & swelling, which could be signs of developing infection.. Best wishes
