GI doc: If you have continued reflux on Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) 20 mg bid, you may need to follow up with a GI doctor for either a change in your PPI, or combination therapy etc. Also, decrease any offending items in your diet such as tomato sauce, pepper, spicy foods, caffeine, alcohol etc

Watch your diet: Medicine is not the only thing that help prevent reflux you have to watch what you eat avoid spicy and greasy food eat.multiple small meals avoid over indulging and avoid late meal or snack and sleep with your head elevated and you need to lose weight if you are doing all of these and you still having problems you might be a candidate for surgery the surgeon will order some test to confirm
