Need more info: considering your occupation you need to consult with an orthopedic surgeon and a physiotherapist who deals mostly with athletes. Many partial tears do not always mean surgery.

No.: Rest, Ice, NSAID and Orthopedic recommended supervised PT may help. If this fails and you continue having ROM restriction and continues pain then surgery is necessary and this can be Arthroplasty( Not the open surgery )

Depends: If the tear is big enough to cause your biceps to sublux out of its groove then yes...if not you can certainly rehab it and see how you do first. An MRI would give this information
