This must upset you: You don't mention which type, but in either case, I can imagine how bad you must feel. Definitely see your provider and consider some supportive psychotherapy to bolster your confidence/self-esteem. If there is a medical solution, work w/ provider in treatment. Also research the best protective pads and possible exercises w/ physical therapists. It's a complex issue, so be patient and really kind.

Need more info: Having history of ataxia and severe spinal arthritis that seems to point to a neurological cause aggravated by the Lasix (furosemide). I think it might be wise to talk to a neurologist and have him/her check you out.
