Acid brash: Acid brash may mean you have reflux and could be treated with omeprazole 20 mg 1 hr before breakfast and dinner (twice a day) and Zantac (ranitidine) at night 150 mg 30 min before bed. All these meds are now OTC. The abd pain with the need to go to the bathroom may be an irritable bowel issue. See your internet and he or she can work this up good luck. Feel better. Hope this helped.

GERD, IBS: Your symptoms are suggestive of acid reflux (GERD) and irritable bowel syndrome. Blood work is expected to be normal in both. Meds can be helpful in both, and can help confirm the diagnoses. If you aren't having stools at night, unlikely to be an inflammatory condition. Keep working with your healthcare provider.
