See a doctor: The first step is to be sure of the diagnosis. If you are certain you have gout treatment will depend on if you have any kidney or liver disease and your other meds. The usual first line of treatment would be either Colcrys or indomthacin. This should be followed, AFTER THE FLAIR-UP is over, by Allopurinol or some similar type of therapy to lower your uric acid and prevent future flairs.

You need a new med: Not sure where your acute attack is, but I'm getting the feeling that the colchicine is not doing the job for you right now. There are some newer meds out for gout and they seem to be tolerated better than colchicine. I will bring in a gout expert.
