See ur doctor : As we get older swelling may lady longer than usual but you must make sure your swelling isn't causes by something else such as your heart...u should see ur doc

ANKLE SPRAINS: In this case scenario, we know the swelling occurred due to injury so as long as there is no pain and you are walking OK, i wouldnt worry about it. With an ankle sprain, depending on the severity, swelling can last for up to 8-10 months.
