Not true: The is no increased issue with anesthesia in individuals with EDS.

Probably unrelated: There is no evidence that individuals with EDS have any increased difficulty with sedation related to anesthesia. There are however risks associated with physical manipulation for intubation related to joint laxity as well as vascular or tracheal injury depending on the type and severity of EDS.
