Absolutely not: That’s a hard no. Isoniazid and alcohol affect each other in a couple of ways. First, drinking alcohol while taking isoniazid may increase the risk of liver injury, which may be permanent. Second, the two together may cause a severe reaction that mimics becoming acutely very ill, and it is a miserable experience.
