Stay active: Everyone metabolizes and breaks down fat differently, and responds uniquely in their exercise regimens. You unfortunately need to be more regimented than others, and stay the course. So even if you are not intensely working out, make the sure the days you are not at the gym, you at least stay active and do some minor exercise at home, even if for only 10-15 minutes on the off days.
