A member asked:

My doc says my insulin levels are too high. i am constantly urinating even at night. hands keep swelling. what should i do.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Is that your doctor': opinion or a lab result? Insulin levels are generally inaccurate when sent to a conventional clinical laboratory, and are most often useless anyway for clinical medicine. If you're overweight, your insulin levels may be high due to insulin resistance, which resolves with weight loss. The other symptoms are separate. Maybe you need a second opinion?
