A member asked:

My uti infection from a foley catheter was successfully treated with antibiotics. urination now feels different though not painful. is this ok?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: But this is best answered by your treating doctor who has more info and the ability to assess you in person. Removal of a Foley catheter may leave swelling of tissues and other inflammatory changes which will take time to fully resolve. Be patient. If you get worse, call your doctor.
