I do not know: Unfortunately, without an exam and a diagnosis, I do not know if it is serious or not. Most lumps are benign such as lipomas or even small cysts or abscesses that may need simple treatment from a dr. On rare occasions the lump may be serious. Get the lump checked out to be sure.
