Pituitary adenoma: You are very fortunate and here is why: 1) this is a benign slow growing tumor; 2) the tumor was discovered at a very early stage and can be cured; 3) it may not be a tumor but hyperplasia or enlargement of a normal pituitary gland; 4) many large and giant pituitary adenomas can be observed for years without any signs of growth. Don't let the pituitary mass define you; it is only a part of you.
