No self-exam: but at 19 it would be beyond unusual - what makes you worried about it? Guidelines vary among societies (some don't recommend screening at all) but it would be done with a manual prostate exam and a bloodtest for PSA.

You can not: First you are too young to have prostate cancer second to detect prostate cancer there is a blood test that man will start having at age of 40-50 third to examined the prostate the doctor will do digital rectal examination something impossible to do on yourself in your age I will worry more about test ocular cancer it is the disease of the young now that you could do by inspecting your testicles
