Numbness and tingling anterior lower left leg 9 months after spinal stenosis surgery?

Is this a recurrence: Are these new symptoms or a recurrence from symptoms you had prior to surgery? Although we always hope for the most long lasting and optimal results following back surgery the reality is spinal canal stenosis is a chronic and progressive disease. Repeat surgeries are risky so be wary especially if the 1st surgery didn't "hold" after such a short period of time.
