No....: A D-Dimer can be positive for many reasons besides a DVT. And, a CT scan does not diagnose clot "anywhere in the body". A chest CT-angio can show clot in the blood vessels of the lungs and a VQ scan is sometimes helpful as well. An ultrasound of the extremities can show clot there. And, a blood clot can happen any time if risk factors are present. See a doctor for diagnosis.
