Fever and chills: The chills occur when the temperature is going up. If she is around 100 pounds or more, give her 2 adult Ibuprofen caps, and have her take a tepid water shower. The fever and the chills will subside for now. The most important thing, however, is to find out the reason for the fever, and for that you may need to visit her doctor soon.

Need more info: Make sure to take your daughter to the doctor to find out exactly what is causing the fever and chills. She may have strep, mono , sinus infection, a UTI , a stomach virus or just a plain viral cause. In the meantime , give supportive treatment .
