Ibuprofen?: Yes- must be taken on a fulls tomach and I would also suggest protection of your stomach lining with omperazole or ranitidine. Consult your physician.

Ibuprofen GI protect: It is not necessary to have food in the stomach to activate ibuprofen, but since this drug is irritating to the mucosa, food will delay contact, and offer some protection against gastritis or ulcerations. There are GI protective forms,of ibuprofen that will offer you protection as well if you are high risk for irritation.
