IBU?: IBU?The International Beer Unit? Unless you're just not writing out the whole word for ibuprofen? Neurontin (gabapentin) is unrelated to ibuprofen by any means. It's a medication originally approved & designed to treat epilepsy but often used in pain management. Ibuprofen is an NSAID.to treat pain too. They're used in different pain types. Can't compare either strengths or potencies for that reason.

Not the same: Neurontin is gabapentin, and ibuprofen is an NSAID. These are different chemical families and not interchangeable drugs.
