A member asked:

I've developed a bony bump on the top of of my rt foot. what could cause that.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A few possibilities: The bump could be a thickening in one of your foot tendons, or it could be a ganglion cyst arising from one of your foot joints. It could also be an area of swelling from trauma. If it does not hurt/bother you, OK to just monitor.
