Armour take alone: For best results, Armour, NatureThroid, levothyroxine, Synthroid and other thyroid medications should be taken on an empty stomach in the morning. Imitrex (sumatriptan) and thyroid medications may be used by the same person, provided the thyroid dose has been adjusted to symptoms and lab tests.

Thyroid: It is best to take Armour thyroid all by itself, and use imitrex (sumatriptan) an hour before or after dose.
