New onset daily headache over 3 weeks.can't get neurology appt until may. i think imitrex 50 mg helped but ha returns.started severe in temple, now all over.no imaging done.week 4 & now having neck & shoulder pain too. need guidance on next step?

Emerging chronic daily headache pattern which likely will require preventative prescription or OTC intervention to disrupt. You could have migraine, but there may be other causes, even triggers. Imitrex should be used sparingly, and would not exceed 3-5 doses within a week, more frequent risks adverse events and more breakthrough headaches. Neurologist is next step.
