A member asked:

How can a hypothyroid affect me when trying to conceive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Hi. I will assume that your hypothyroidism is treated and that on treatment, you have normal thyroid function. That condition is not an impediment to conceiving and successfully carrying a pregnancy to term. Often your thyroid hormone dose will need to be increased early in the pregnancy based on labs...easy. Good luck!
