Not that good for SIBO: Peppermint oil is best for indigestion, and already know is excellent if you're using it at the start of having a cold, otherwise it can have a heated, or burning sensation. Not sure about berberine. However with SIBO, it's best to address it at its root cause, and work with your integrative medicine doctor to discuss, and work through the multi system, dietary implications.
