Not good: There are so many side effects that you cannot see from chronic use of this class of medication. There can be heart rhythm problems, neurologic effects - it's just not worth the risk even if it is working well for runny nose and eczema. You need to find a good pediatric allergist and find a different regimen of treatment before this med does permanent damage.

4 month old?: Did your doctor tell you to do that? What else are you trying? What does your child eat? A reaction to certain foods may very well be making your baby's condition worse. Eliminate gluten and dairy. Are you breast feeding? I wish you and your baby the best.
