More than 1pad?: If your are bleeding through more than one pad per hour please page your doctor for instructions. If less than one pad per hour you can wait.

Ride it out: Periods can vary significantly from month to month depending on a lot of external factors that can change your hormonal status. If the period lasts longer than 7 days then I would see your GYN but otherwise just accept that it might be like this from time to time.
