DUB: Dysfunctional uterine bleeding can occur with a change in hormone levels usually when the ovaries do not release an egg, ie. an anovulatory cycle. If the bleeding becomes heavy or continues, your primary care physician or OB-Gyn may prescribe birth control pills to normalize it. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000903.htm

Heavy fast flow: Blood usually comes out without clots but with rapid flow you may see clots. I wonder how many pads you use. If its more than usual that would confirm what I said. If the same happens next period ring up your physician.
