Irregular periods: Vitex is not a medication that I am familiar with. I see that it is an herbal supplement also called Chaste berry that makes claim to assist in cycle regulation although there is no good scientific evidence to support this. I would see your obgyn and ask to be tested for PCOS. Then effective options for menstrual cycle regulation can be discussed.
